This is a group of 2014 mentees in Siem Reap, Cambodia. They are all smart, helpful and friendly. The Mentoring Program commenced from July to November 2014. It is focused on building international links, project management skills, and enable good mentor relationships to grow between Australian local government mentors and young people in Nepal, Myanmar and Cambodia.
It was a great experience I have ever had with
LGMA International Mentor Program. I not only learned and shared knowledge and culture with my Australian mentor, Fiona who provided me with a lot of support and help, local mentors and mentees, but I also acquired great achievements and self development. Otherwise the important field I obtained from this program is project management and social related work.
I tried to build a school with my mentor's assistance , but it was failed for the first time due to flood in the rainy season making the site hard to run. The next struggle gave me a fruitful result, a new community school appeared into shape and is located in Donnum village, Prasat Bakong District, Siem Reap. "It is impossible until all is done."
I am very satisfied with this program and all I have done to help other. I am even happier to have helped all the underprivileged children to attend my free classes project in the rural area. I would appreciate
Ken, the program manager,
Fiona, my Australian mentor and all local mentors & mentees who are all great people.
