After I won a four year scholarship from JWOC, I had been voluntarily working as a weekend teacher providing English instructions to children, young adults and adults from the surrounding areas and other places in Siem Reap. My regular classes were 4-6 pm every Saturday and Sunday. I was really satisfied with my contribution and very proud of myself to have been involved in social working that could help improve human resources and develop my country.
JWOC is not only a place that gives me a chance to continue my higher education, but also a training centre-like for university students as me to be able to shape into my field or skill.
